One of the most successful programs offered by 1st Choice Facilities Services is our General Maintenance Contractor (Handyman) Preventative Maintenance Program which began in 1996 with a major client of ours. The program was based upon the theory of ‘let’s tighten the door hinge or handle before it falls off.’ The success of this schedule proactive maintenance program has been shown to significantly reduce repair expenses while improving the day-to-day condition of the stores with a program we like to call: GOLD (Grand Opening Look Daily).
